The GYAN DEEP SR. SEC. SCHOOL is an English-medium co-educational day school. The institution was founded and established by Mr. Sunil Gupta as an inspiration of our respected father Sh. Shiv Kumar Gupta under the guidance of our beloved mother Late Smt. Leelawati Gupta in 1993.
The School provides an ideal atmosphere for learners to acquire and imbibe skills necessary for their physical, mental, social and intellectual development. Our school adopts various strategies to improve students’ academic performance. It includes consistent monitoring, guidance and counseling sessions. The statistic on the overall performance of students shows a continuous rise every year. Faculty members provide joyful, disciplined, secular, learning environment. Gyan Deep School’s faculty has a sufficient number of teachers . The teaching faculty has a far-reaching and lasting impact on students. The student and teacher ratio is of 20:1.
Every Student is graded on both scholastic and co-scholastic achievements. Each assessment report is based on the continuous evaluation based on class activities, worksheets and assignments on day to day basis.
The school functions for students from Monday to Friday. It remains closed on all Saturdays of the month and on other holidays as declared by the school. However, on the all Saturdays except Second Saturday of the month Teachers and the Administrative staff are available between 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. for any query or consultation. Students can be called on a holiday by prior information, for academic or extra-curricular activities.
Every student is given a calendar of event for the year. It includes the schedule of weekly test, terminal exams and annual exams along with detailed syllabi. Sports and Cultural events and competitions are also indicated for the entire year. Parents are requested to keep themselves informed of the scheduled activities to encourage their wards to participate in the same.
