Today’s birthday

Ajay Ahuja was born on 22 May 1963 in Kota, Rajasthan, India. He attended Saint Paul’s Senior Secondary School, a renowned missionary school for boys. He graduated from the Indian National Defense Academy and was commissioned as a fighter pilot in the Indian Air Force on 14 June 1985. He was a fighter pilot of the Indian Air Force who was killed during the Kargil War between India and Pakistan in 1999.

ADMISSION RELATED INFORMATION

Our admission process is simple and hassle free. Our counsellors/ admissions managers are always at hand to guide you through all your decisions, all the way to your child’s first day at school.

Admission Guidelines

• Admission is granted on First Come First Serve basis, till the availability of seats.
• The admission process for grade XI will commence only after grade X Board examinations. The application form along with the admission criteria is available on the website.
• Provisional admission will be processed and converted to confirmed admission only after submission and verification of required documents and deposit of applicable fee before the start of academic session.
• The admission application form may be filled by parent/single parent or the legal guardian having the sole custody of the child (should be supported by valid legal documents).
• The age of the applicant students should be compatible as per the class they are applying for.
• The qualifying examination should be cleared with the minimum required marks.
• The admission during the academic session, though not encouraged, is done for exceptional transfer cases only.

List of documents required for admission

1.     2 passport size colour photographs of the child and each parent/guardian.
2.     Aadhar Card of student and Parents
3.     Address proof (photocopy of the ration card/ electricity bill/ telephone bill)
4.     Photocopy of report card of last year, wherever applicable.
5.     Photocopy of birth certificate.
6.     Transfer Certificate, wherever applicable.

Admission is open for classes Nursery to XI at Gyan Deep Gurgaon for the academic session 2024-25. Admission forms along with the prospectus are available at Administrative Office on all weekdays between 9.00 A.M. to 2.00 P.M. No New admission in class X & XII

Withdrawals:

Notice in writing for the withdrawal of  student  from the school must be given one month in advance positively by the end of session . Failure to give this mandatory notice will lead to payment of fee for the next month. Application for T.C must be furnished with the fee counter well in time. The T.C will be prepared and given only after obtaining the no-dues certificate. The process will take a minimum of one week.

FEES

All fees are payable by 10^th of the payable month.

The name of any student whose fee is not paid for 20 days after the last date of payment will be struck off the rolls of the school. Fee once paid will not be refunded.

GYAN DEEP SR. SEC. SCHOOL provide fully equipped physics lab with latest machineries and tools. We provide access of physics lab from classes under supervision of our qualified and experienced teachers and lab assistants. GDSSS has a well-planned. Physics lab that equips the students to have hands on experience. It is adequately equipped with every kind of modern apparatus required for the AISSE Practical Examinations as prescribed by the CBSE. CELEBRATION

On 11th November 2021, GDSSS students of our school Organised Ramp Walk at Children’s Day Celebration. Students participated in event-Fancy Dress with Ramp Walk. Our School Students made us proud in Fancy Dress with Ramp Walk. The main attraction of the event was Ramp walk by students.Fashion is something that has no age limit, and our little fashionista set the perfect example for it. They rock the fashion show with their adorable ramp walk while wearing elegant gowns and funky jackets. With their charm and innocence blended, they truly set the stage on fire and give spectacular performances.

Gyan Deep Sr. Sec. School celebrated its Annual Sports meet. The guest of honour was Chairman Sir of the School, Director ma’am, Manager ma’am and Principal. Following the march past, the dignitaries released balloons to mark the beginning of the event.The meet began with Flag’ by the school choir. The event was flagged off with the Lighting of the Torch and formal Oath Taking. Principal ma’am highlighted the necessity of sportsman’s spirit and boosted the confidence of the participants, before declaring the Meet open. The show events included Race, Volleyball. The event culminated with the Prize Distribution ceremony. Prizes were distributed to the winning students by the Guests.

Victory of Good over Evil-Dussehra

To mark the victory of good over evil,Dussehra, a special assembly on Dusshera, the festival that resonates the victory of good over evil was presented by the energetic students of class IX- X on 13 October,2021 at GYAN DEEP SR. SEC. SCHOOL. The students presented special theme Poem, Speech. The assembly concluded with burning of the effigy of the demon King Ravana. The hardwork of the students was highly appreciated by Principal and Manager.

Food and Nutrition related activities were organised by the students of Classes VI-VIII. students were also motivated to follow a healthy diet for healthy life with activities that guided them to make the right choice of food. Going the healthy way, children created their palette on paper. The food that we eat can be the safest and the most powerful medicine. A healthy lifestyle can be attained by maintaining a balanced diet. The importance of nutritious food for children needs to be highlighted and should be explained to them otherwise they may end up being prone to several growth and development problems. Children learnt about the need of pulses, grains, carbohydrates, protein, fats, fruits and vegetables in human body through the food pyramid.

GDSSS Students of Class VI  were taken on a journey of discovery through their subject enrichment activity which represented the layers of the earth. The project was designed in a way to make the students aware the students about  their ability to create & relate the knowledge of Earth’s interior with their real life skills. Students represented the  layers below the earth’s surface (crust). A 3D model of earth’s layer was displayed along with a pictorial graph. The representation of the earth’s interior as depicted from inner to outer in the following way was mentioned:- the dense, hot inner core (yellow), the molten outer core (orange), the mantle (red), and the thin crust (brown), which supports all life in the known universe.

GDSSS students (class – 3) students have completed Art Integration Activity on WEATHER. In this activity they draw different types of weather, measured temperature in mathematics, they have also written vocabulary words covered the language part and learnt to differentiate between weather and season. They have written paragraph in Hindi language also.have completed Art Integration Activity on WEATHER.
