On 11th November 2021, GDSSS students of our school Organised Ramp Walk at Children’s Day Celebration. Students participated in event-Fancy Dress with Ramp Walk. Our School Students made us proud in Fancy Dress with Ramp Walk. The main attraction of the event was Ramp walk by students.Fashion is something that has no age limit, and our little fashionista set the perfect example for it. They rock the fashion show with their adorable ramp walk while wearing elegant gowns and funky jackets. With their charm and innocence blended, they truly set the stage on fire and give spectacular performances.
Gyan Deep Sr. Sec. School celebrated its Annual Sports meet. The guest of honour was Chairman Sir of the School, Director ma’am, Manager ma’am and Principal. Following the march past, the dignitaries released balloons to mark the beginning of the event.The meet began with Flag’ by the school choir. The event was flagged off with the Lighting of the Torch and formal Oath Taking. Principal ma’am highlighted the necessity of sportsman’s spirit and boosted the confidence of the participants, before declaring the Meet open. The show events included Race, Volleyball. The event culminated with the Prize Distribution ceremony. Prizes were distributed to the winning students by the Guests.

Victory of Good over Evil-Dussehra
To mark the victory of good over evil,Dussehra, a special assembly on Dusshera, the festival that resonates the victory of good over evil was presented by the energetic students of class IX- X on 13 October,2021 at GYAN DEEP SR. SEC. SCHOOL. The students presented special theme Poem, Speech. The assembly concluded with burning of the effigy of the demon King Ravana. The hardwork of the students was highly appreciated by Principal and Manager.
Food and Nutrition related activities were organised by the students of Classes VI-VIII. students were also motivated to follow a healthy diet for healthy life with activities that guided them to make the right choice of food. Going the healthy way, children created their palette on paper. The food that we eat can be the safest and the most powerful medicine. A healthy lifestyle can be attained by maintaining a balanced diet. The importance of nutritious food for children needs to be highlighted and should be explained to them otherwise they may end up being prone to several growth and development problems. Children learnt about the need of pulses, grains, carbohydrates, protein, fats, fruits and vegetables in human body through the food pyramid.
GDSSS Students of Class VI were taken on a journey of discovery through their subject enrichment activity which represented the layers of the earth. The project was designed in a way to make the students aware the students about their ability to create & relate the knowledge of Earth’s interior with their real life skills. Students represented the layers below the earth’s surface (crust). A 3D model of earth’s layer was displayed along with a pictorial graph. The representation of the earth’s interior as depicted from inner to outer in the following way was mentioned:- the dense, hot inner core (yellow), the molten outer core (orange), the mantle (red), and the thin crust (brown), which supports all life in the known universe.
GDSSS students (class – 3) students have completed Art Integration Activity on WEATHER. In this activity they draw different types of weather, measured temperature in mathematics, they have also written vocabulary words covered the language part and learnt to differentiate between weather and season.
